Death Investigation Underway at Dana Park in Henderson County After Man Found Hanging
HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a death after a man was found hanging at Dana Park on Monday morning, July 27.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies responded to Dana Park and launched a death investigation following the discovery. The incident prompted a large law enforcement response as investigators worked to secure the area and gather evidence.
Crime scene tape was seen surrounding the park’s playground, while at least five sheriff’s patrol vehicles remained at the scene throughout the morning.
